Careers at PRI
BUILD SOMETHING
THAT LASTS.
THAT LASTS.
PRI has been operating for 38 years because we invest in the people who run our facilities, build our processes, and drive our growth. If you want to do meaningful work in a hands-on environment — we want to hear from you.
Why PRI
Why Work Here.
We're not a startup and we're not a corporation. We're a 38-year-old company that still operates like a team — where your work is visible, your impact is real, and there's room to grow.
Real Impact
You're not a number here. PRI operates 6 facilities with ~200 employees — small enough that your contributions are noticed, large enough to offer stability and career growth.
Meaningful Work
Every pound we process is a pound of virgin plastic displaced. We're solving a real problem — and growing fast doing it. 200M lbs/year capacity and still expanding.
Hands-On Environment
From the plant floor to the lab to the sales team — PRI is an operational company. We value people who want to get things done, not just talk about them.
Growth Opportunity
PRI is expanding — new facilities, new markets, new capabilities. That growth creates opportunity for the people already here. We promote from within using our tiered training and advancement program — with clear pathways for career growth at every level.
Stability & Longevity
38 years in business. Family-founded, still led by the same family, and built for the long haul. We're a proven operation that's been around longer than most of our competitors have existed.
Multiple Locations
Facilities across Indiana, Tennessee, and South Carolina. Opportunities available at multiple sites — find the role and location that works for you.
Who We Hire
What We're Looking For.
PRI hires across a wide range of disciplines — from the plant floor to the lab to the front office. If you're driven, dependable, and ready to contribute, there's likely a place for you here.

Community & Culture
More Than A Job.
Part Of Something Bigger.
Part Of Something Bigger.
At PRI, we invest in our community the same way we invest in our people — with intention and commitment. From partnering with local schools to hosting facility tours, we believe that building great careers and stronger communities go hand in hand.
FAME Program
PRI is a proud FAME employer — sponsoring and hosting students in the Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education program. FAME combines strong technical training with intensive hands-on manufacturing experience. Students split time between the classroom and working on our production floor, building the skills of a modern manufacturing technician. Top performers are offered full-time positions upon completion.
Modern Apprenticeship Program (MAP)
PRI is an active MAP employer — providing structured apprenticeship pathways and professional career development for young adults entering the workforce. Apprentices work across our operations and professional functions, from production to HR. We have hosted 10 apprentices through this program to date, with 3 currently building their careers at PRI full-time.
Work-Based Learning & CTE
PRI partners with Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and AREA 31 to connect high school students with real manufacturing careers. Students learn integrated mechanics curriculum and apply it hands-on at our facilities. We currently host students from a local high school and actively welcome new school partnerships across all programs.
Internships & Co-Ops
PRI hosts 3–4 interns per year across fall, spring, and summer terms. We are actively partnering with Purdue University on co-op placements and welcome programs from other universities. Internships at PRI provide meaningful, hands-on experience in a growing national recycling and compounding operation. Interested in bringing your program to PRI? Contact us.
School Tours & Field Trips
PRI regularly opens our doors to schools from kindergarten through senior year. Students tour our facilities and learn about sustainability, the recycling process, and how plastics are transformed into high-performance compounds. We believe educating the next generation about recycling is part of our responsibility to the community. Contact us to schedule a tour.
Second Chance Employer
At PRI, our family-owned culture creates an environment that brings out the best in people. We are a proud second chance employer and take great pride in our diverse workforce. Every day, our team leaves knowing they are doing meaningful work — contributing to a cleaner environment for future generations. Everyone deserves the opportunity to build something great.
