Life Cycle Assessment methodology — the international standard for environmental impact measurement. PRI's carbon factors are derived from peer-reviewed LCA studies on virgin vs. recycled polymer production.

Polymer-Specific Factors
Each polymer (PP, PS, HDPE, ABS) has a different virgin production carbon intensity. Our calculator applies the right factor based on what you're replacing — not a one-size-fits-all average.
